Bald Rock is the more praised trail at Cheaha State Park. At only 1/4 mile long, this trail can be completed and almost anytime during the day (with the exception of sunset till dawn for trail closure). Bald Rock can be accessed by either the board walk or the trail. The board walk is easily managed and is great for people with young kids or handicapped personnel.
However, the board walk does not access Bald Rock directly. It can be accessed via stairs about twenty yards before, which can pose an issue for handicapped personnel. The board walk still boast spectacular views being only a few yards away and slightly above Bald Rock. All in all this short trail is great for anyone of any age looking for spectacular views in an unexpected location.
